The director is the main reason for the bad film
Line of Events
The Reverend accompanies a ragtag group of military rejects to a remote South Pacific island to investigate the disappearance of Marine units believed to be in the hands of the Imperial Japanese Army. The jump plane is a C-47/DC-3, but the interior shown, especially towards the end of the film, is a larger cargo plane, perhaps a C-123.
I feel besieged after watching this movie
All the characters were well-acted, including the werewolf, but what is Murphy’s role?? Why are vampires needed in Murphy’s cafe?
Who trained the father and when?
Why is Murphy even needed in this film? Why does even the werewolf live in the village and serve the villagers??
How did they become converted?
Who was part of a team of extraordinary people but died within seconds? All these plot loops ruined this film, but I certainly appreciate the people who played the characters well and also enjoyed the enigmatic background music.
So please don’t waste your money on making such movies
A low budget movie can be well done with a proper plot. We also like the werewolf and its style and fantasy, but him hiding behind a wall seems like human behavior.
