Martin didn’t drop the rope. Introducing Half in the Bag: 2022 Mid-Year Catch-Up Part 1 (TV Show) (2022). Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be) Written by Jay Livingston and Ray Evans with The Pixies. I’ve enjoyed this show so far and the acting and mysteries etc.
mostly because I can’t stop thinking
However, I’m starting to worry a little that it’s getting too close to “Lost”; the vibe, while “Lost” was also a fantastic show in terms of acting, direction etc. I was annoyed at the end by how much mystery there was just for the sake of mystery. Watching the second season, I still found myself getting a little annoyed when another stranger showed up, a mystery was introduced, whether it was a symbol, an object, a thing, an event… Is it relevant in any way in the long run?
This is never mentioned or explained in any way
It’s just one of those things where there’s a mystical mist creature or a hatch or a light etc. Because this kind of mysterious writing annoys me, after all, the writer can reach behind anything and never come back. and "the spatula"!" and that’s it, forgotten after one season, no explanation, it was just to make it weird. Still, I’ll keep watching, but if it ends one day and it’s just “it was all in his head!” and doesn’t try to attach any thematic logic to everything, then consider this review at least 2-3 points lower…
