Binaural beats are made specifically to create a low frequency tone in your brain that then creates a shift in your actual brainwaves, thus your mood!
There are a ton of free Binaural Beats for you to check out on YouTube. You can basically type in what emotion/feeling you’re trying to channel + binaural beats and you’re all set! Like “Binaural beats focus” or “Binaural beats relaxation”.
Ideally, these beats are meant to be listened to with headphones for the most efficacy. That being said, I am highly sensitive to sound, and find that they are still impactful to my mood when I put them on while I am showering, getting dressed, working, having sex, or whatever.
I definitely recommend trying it with headphones, but see if you can feel your baseline with and without! It doesn’t *hurt* to have it on in the background! It’s basically just like ambient music.
So your challenge this week is to listen to Binaural Beats to altar/intensify your mood for 15 minutes, ideally with headphones. Report back, and tell us what track you listened to! I’ll work on putting a playlist together.
